Nvidia’s New Plug-In AI Factory Takes 14 Days
Nvidia unveiled a reference design for AI data centers that it says can shrink setup time from six months to two weeks.
Transcript of the video edition
Nvidia says it can build a full data center in two weeks, not six months. Here’s the new plan it showed in Berlin.
At its Berlin event, Nvidia showed a reference design called DSX POD. It’s a complete data center built in modular containers.
The system uses Vera Rubin chips and new networking. Nvidia also announced security tools for AI agents, which are programs that act on their own. The company says the system is built to hold the chips that power AI tools, from chatbots to self-driving car software. Speed matters because demand for computing power keeps growing.
Nvidia also named new European investments and a supply expansion. The real test is whether the speed holds up on real sites. Watch the first deployments.
