Transcript of the video edition

Is OpenAI now on Google’s cloud? Yes. The company says its newest models are coming to Google Cloud, so businesses can use them there too. It was announced on October twenty-first.

Google Cloud runs a catalog called Model Garden, where businesses pick AI models to use. OpenAI’s frontier models and its Codex agent tools will now be listed there.

So what is a cloud? It is rented computing power, kept in huge buildings full of servers. Companies pay to use it instead of buying their own machines.

Microsoft was first. Amazon started hosting OpenAI models in April, after Microsoft’s exclusive deal ended. Now Google joins them, which puts OpenAI on all three top clouds.

The coverage we found did not include pricing. So is OpenAI on Google’s cloud? Yes. For businesses, that means more choice. Watch for the price details. Thanks for watching.
