I Wake Up, I Scroll, and I Can’t Afford Gas
Wall Street, Washington and the G20 all want our attention. At home, the price at the pump is the headline.

I wake up, I scroll for news. I see the Binance hack and I already want to crawl back into bed. Wall Street’s wondering when AI will start paying for itself. I’m still trying to follow the Trump family’s crypto connection to Binance. The Justice Department is already in court over an election we’re still voting in. Russia keeps hitting Ukraine, U.S. allies are bracing for possible strikes on Iran, and G20 diplomats are reportedly considering two group photos because they can’t agree on who stands next to whom. Then I read that Linda McMahon wants Congress to close the Education Department while simultaneously plans to spend $43,000 furnishing her new office. Meanwhile, I can’t afford gas. Am I the only one muttering “WTF” into my coffee?
